With the lab responsible for conducting experiments on children gone, things can finally go back to normal for Nick and Maddie. They spend their days being the Blue Masked Hero and Red Masked Heroine, training the powered kids they rescued, and spending time with their families. But things are never so simple. Someone is harming the humans, framing Nick in the process. To make matters worse, Nick’s sister Kaylee is having nightmares about the ordeal she went through when the lab kidnapped and tortured her.
Nick begins to question if being the Blue Masked Hero is worth his safety as well as the safety of his family. Can he and Maddie find the person framing him? Can he help his sister overcome her fears? Is being the Blue Masked Hero right for him or is it time to hang up the mask?
