Summary Of The Book Practical Palmistry, published in 2011, is a book that aims to help readers understand the complete science of palmistry. This unique branch of astrology not only predicts the future, but is also able to look into a person’s past. The author says that any individual’s destiny is written on his or her dominant hand. He adds that the lines and marks found on palms have been made by God after careful thought, and therefore information like the date and location of birth is not relevant. Practical Palmistry says that human beings come across many obstacles in their lives. The future seems uncertain, and a person’s ambitions may not seem achievable. This book will help readers understand palmistry, thus guiding a person to his or her destination. This practical guide contains information on both Indian and Western palmistry. The author describes various parts of the hand, and informs readers about their names. Those interested in learning about this subject, will find that this book has information about the names of fingers, the parts of thumbs, and the three types of mounts. Practical Palmistry introduces readers to the life line, head line, heart line, fate line, marriage line, and health line. This book contains over 240 palmistry combinations, called yogs. Some of them are amla yog, indra yog, budh yog, sati yog, kalah yog, arvind yog, and divya yog. Furthermore, Practical Palmistry explains the meanings of lines found on the forehead, and contains special features for women.
