The book also recounts his interesting encounters with many famous people, both in the spiritual and material spheres. He talks of his meetings with people like Jagadish Chandra Bose, Tagore, Nobel Laureate Sir C. V. Raman, and Mahatma Gandhi. He also describes interesting incidents regarding many mystics and yogis that he used to meet. Among these were the Tiger Swami, and Bhaduri Mahasaya who practiced levitation. He also met Anandamayi Ma, and a yogini named Giri Bala who had conquered hunger. He also met other spiritual masters like Sri Ramana Maharshi.
